My three priorities as your City Council representative are to:
1. Promote Economic Development, including Job Creation;
2. Establish a Gang Injunction policy and process that prevents gang activities;
3. Develop a strong collaborative approach with our school district focusing on districtwide performance improvement. Doing so will not only help our students, but will bolster families, promote safety, and improve our economy and the city’s future.
Additionally, I am now developing a sister-city partnership with Luchu, Taiwan, that will bring about economic investment in Hayward, an educational and cultural exchange, and a technological partnership that will enhance the growth of our 30-plus biotechnology companies.
I helped create a free student transit pass system for our kids.
As a national expert on first responder communication, I am endorsed by the Hayward Firefighters. Communication is critically important for this community’s safety.
Hayward can be the community we want it to be, and I, as your City Council Member, will lead the effort to make these priorities functional living examples.
